This is a new addition to the Teifi Valley branch's choice of real ale pubs. Records of the pub as a hotel pre-date 1800, originally it only occupied the part to the right-hand side of the archway, but expanded to include the restaurant, now known as The Stables. The interior has been refurbished as recently as November 2018.
